Kulti College provides an extensive library and range of information services to support
Class room learning and enable students to study more effectively.
Apart from textbooks, the Library has got reference books on every subject. Besides catering to the needs of the Honours students, the library can provide ample opportunities to those who intend to carry on higher research in some subjects.. Along with books, the library purchases and subscribes to a large number of periodicals of both popular and specialized nature, newspaper in English and Bengali.
Students are encouraged to take full advantage of the College Library,
There is a Reading Room Section attached to the Library affording facilities for quiet study. This unit of the library will be shifted, supposed to be at the end of this year, to the U.G.0 sponsored Newly built Library building on the western part of the main building. The students are permitted to take out books or periodicals for study in either for
Reading Room or for home issue during the college period. For this purpose they have to enroll themselves by depositing two P P size color / b& w photograph to the Library Department just after getting admission. It will take at least 10 days time for processing for Honours students & 20 days time for general students. Students must bring the admission receipt of the college while draw their College Library card.
It is mandatory that the books once issued from the Library must return after 15 days. Otherwise a 50 paise /day late fine will be imposed. Book Issued for Reading Room purpose can not be meant for home use it is punishable, if not return in time.

Students can accesses their books & journals in the library through the UGC- designed SOUL software .For this purpose a short term training will be imparted to all new comers free of cost. Internet Facility available on request.
Loss of Library cards:
For Loss of Library cards or books should be immediately reported to the Librarian in
writing duly forwarded by the Principal for Information & Necessary action to the local Police Station. Verbal information will not be entertained.
Without Library clearance certificate students are not allowed to go in for the final examination.
